Pricing
The base price for my animation commissions is:- $150/sec for simple movements.
- $250/sec for complex movements.
- Any scene that I deem really simple to make, the price for it will be lower.The total quote may be adjusted based on the complexity of the character designs, number of characters and other factors.
Black and white animations will cost less.Backgrounds/ Compositing work will cost around $300 - $1000 depending on how difficult it is to work on.
Work Process and Feedbacks
After you describe your ideas to me, I will consider if I'm fit for the job. If yes, I will draw a rough animatic to estimate the pacing and duration of the animation and show it to you. When we confirm the animatic is good, I will calculate the exact price of the commission based on it.
I will be sending WIPs multiple times throughout the process for feedback before moving on to the next stage of the work. Requesting edit is free during feedback, but once a stage is confirmed, edit requests will incur extra charges unless it is very minor (eg. adding small accessory, color adjustment,etc) or I have made a mistake in the design.Here are the stages in my workflow and which kind of feedbacks you should give during those stages:- Character design: how I will draw your characters in the animations.
- Storyboard/ Animatic: scripts, camera angles and the pacing of the video.
- Rough animation: character movements and poses.
- Tie-down: character's design (hair, clothes...) being added into the sketches.
- Clean-up and colorings: character's colors and lighting.
- Final compositingFor example, during the rough animation stage I will keep you updated frequently. If there's any change you want me to do about the movements or the poses, please tell me during that stage and I will fix it right away. Once we've confirmed that the sketches are okay to go, I will move onto the next stage and if then you want me to fix the movements or poses, it will cost you extra.
Preference
I will generally draw SFW characters only. Suggestive characters can be negotiated.
I am unexperienced in drawing Furry/Mecha/Realism
